“I am proud of how we were determined and took care of business today,” said Abilene High coach Stacy Bryan. “We played well against Wylie last Thursday, and I was happy to see us keep that intensity high today. This time of year is a different feeling because we’re in the middle of a district game. .

“The kids are excited and playing with a lot of energy. It feels good to be 4-0 in the district. We have two tough teams as we finish the district and we are looking forward to it.”

The Eagles will travel to Cooper for Crosstown tennis on Tuesday before hosting Wolfforth Frenship in a district game at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
