Aston Villa ‘in no rush’ to welcome Leon Bailey back from injury

Former Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor claims Dean Smith will be in no rush to welcome Leon Bailey to his side following the Jamaican’s injury issues since joining the little one.
Bailey sustained a muscle injury in Villa’s 3-0 win over Everton earlier this month and then missed the win over Manchester United at Old Trafford last time around.
The winger won’t be fit enough for the selection as Villa travels to Tottenham this weekend and Agbonlahor believes Smith will take his time to bring Bailey back into the fold.
The former Premier League sniper said: “It depends on how the injury comes about. He got injured scoring a goal and I think everyone would get hurt hitting the ball as hard as him. for his goal, ”he told Football Insider.
“No, I’m not worried. They have to take their time with him.
“If I were Aston Villa I would give him time now to level up physically and not rush him now.
“There is the international truce approaching now and there is one in November as well. This is timely.
“Just let the injury heal, give him a few U23 games to gently relieve him.
“That’s what Aston Villa will do, they are in no rush for Leon Bailey to come back to the side. They have other quality wingers who can’t even get a minute kick with El Ghazi, Traore and Ashley Young as well.
“Villa will take his time with him and make sure he’s right when they bring him back.”
