Aston Villa Premier League fixtures ‘leaked’ ahead of big reveal

Aston Villa’s 2022/23 Premier League openers were reportedly ‘leaked’ on social media three days before the official release. The full campaign schedule is expected to be released Thursday at 9 a.m.
The list of so-called “leaked” fixtures has been circulating online for the past 24 hours, which shows eight sets of matches from August 6 to September 24.
The rumored opening seven matches for Steven Gerrard’s side can be found below:

Manchester City (A) – August 6
Tottenham Hotspur (H) – August 13
Southampton (A) – 20 August
Brighton – September 3
West Ham United (A) – September 10
Everton (M) – September 17
Newcastle (A) – September 24
The validity of the list has however been questioned as it does not take into account the scheduled midweek matches which will be played between August 30 and September 1, as well as the international break which is expected to take place at the end of September as the rest of the UEFA Nations League matches begin.
England are set to face Italy on September 23 and Germany at Wembley on September 26, but the list includes Premier League fixtures to be played this weekend.
