Chelsea vs Juventus live score updates: latest Champions League news, team news, TV channel and start time
Chelsea secured their place in the Champions League round of 16 following a 4-0 win over Juventus at Stamford Bridge.
Trevoh Chalobah opened the scoring after 25 minutes of his first Champions League start from a corner. Reece James added a second five minutes before the hour mark with a clean volley.
Chelsea continued to dominate as the visitors struggled to keep possession in promising areas. Injuries to Ben Chilwell and N’Golo Kante did not stop the hosts’ dominance and Chelsea maintained their attacking momentum throughout.
Callum Hudson-Odoi added a third goal in the 58th minute after a good footwork from Ruben Loftus-Cheek during preparation. Timo Werner closed the match with practically the last kick of the match.
The win also means Thomas Tuchel kept 31 clean sheets – the most of any team in Europe’s top five leagues to date – in his first 50 games as Chelsea manager, conceding just 24 times in the process.
Chelsea lead Group H on goal difference with 12 points with Juventus.
