England squad numbers as Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish gets 7

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish will wear number seven for England at the European Championships this summer.
Gareth Southgate has named his Three Lions squad for the tournament, which begins later this month on Tuesday night after initially nominating 33 players – the squad that will compete at Euro has now been reduced to 26.
Grealish and his Villa teammate Tyrone Mings made the cut, but Lions forward Ollie Watkins was knocked out. Wolves skipper Conor Coady, West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and Birmingham City academy product Jude Bellingham have also been on the squad.
At England’s announcement, the rosters of the 26 players were also confirmed. Grealish wears number 7 as mentioned, Mings will take number 15, Johnstone – presumably as the third-choice goalie – is number 23 and Coady will wear number 16.
Bellingham was denied his number 22 – which went to Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, so Bellingham will take the 26.
