Inside Ireland’s largest Tesco where they have features you won’t find in most other stores
Ireland’s largest Tesco is located at Fonthill Road, Liffey Valle Shopping Center and opened in 2018.
There was a lot of enthusiasm for the official opening of the store as it created 175 jobs in the locality.
It cost 30 million euros to set up the store and people were excited to see that there would be a Vision Express, Costa Coffee Shop and Holland and Barrett’s included on the premises.
The store is huge, with a whopping 60,000 square feet for customers to browse on the go.
The Vision Express is still there and opens from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Mondays and Tuesdays.
There is also a Grafton Barbers store nearby, which makes the tedious task of shopping for groceries on the weekends a little more exciting when you can get a haircut as well.
Customers can also browse some of the best and newest phones at the Tesco Mobile counter, which is open until 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
It opens until 8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
The store houses a huge range of fresh produce, groceries, beers, wines and spirits, as well as a huge range of F&F clothing, toys and housewares, which will keep you busy browsing.
Not only that, but the Liffey Valley store has over 440 free parking spaces and is meant to be eco-friendly.
Tesco in Liffey Valley has a highly carbon-efficient design that includes integrated energy saving measures, advanced lighting, heating and cooling systems and waste recycling facilities.
It also donates any extra food in stock that won’t be used for food charities, which is a great way to avoid food waste.
