Jack Wilshere defends 25-year-old Aston Villa player after Gary Neville tweet

Jack Wilshere took to Twitter to defend Jack Grealish, after Gary Neville named his XI for England’s clash with Germany.
What is the story?
Days away from Tuesday’s tantalizing EURO 2020 clash, Neville took to Twitter to share his favorite XI.
Surprisingly, the Sky Sports specialist decided not to cast Grealish or Phil Foden, which Wilshere took over.

The former Arsenal maestro said at least one duo had to start, before opting for Grealish due to his ball retention and dribbling skills.

No Grealish or Foden ð¤ð²
The most talented / creative in England …
At least one must play! Probably Grealish to help us hold the ball and carry it out into the field. Go Gas 𤨠https://t.co/ERNvBOwrhS– Jack Wilshere (@JackWilshere) June 24, 2021
We agree with the 29-year-old – Grealish just needs to start this huge last 16 clash after his performance against the Czech Republic.
Gareth Southgate has no one like him
Yes, Foden is a running back and so is Mason Mount, but England just doesn’t have anyone like Grealish – he can cause Germany big problems.
The 25-year-old Aston Villa captain picks up the ball time and time again, while still making good use of possession.
Grealish is also amazing at earning free kicks which could be vital after Germany battles Hungary from the air.
Mighty Ãdám Szalai scored an excellent header in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw, while proving to be an air nuisance throughout the game.
If Grealish keeps winning set pieces in dangerous areas, then maybe Harry Maguire and John Stones can replicate Szalai’s exploits.
Simply put, Grealish has to start.
