KFC Yum! Center undergoing nearly $ 8 million in major renovations

New signage and audio upgrades are coming to KFC Yum in downtown Louisville! Center. In addition to signage and audio upgrades, streaming capabilities are updated, as well as a brand of concession stand and carpet throughout the arena. Visitors won’t have to wait long to see upgrades. ASM Global, which manages the KFC Yum! Center said on Wednesday that the renovations will be completed this fall. “As we celebrate our 11th year of operation, these enhancements allow us to give the arena a whole new look that will continue to create unique experiences for our fans in the future,” said Louisville Arena President Authority, Leslie Geoghegan. The renovations began in June and cost nearly $ 8 million. According to KFC Yum! Managing the center, the goal of the upgrades is to provide new opportunities for sponsors while creating “unique experiences for our fans”. The arena is already home to the University of Louisville men’s and women’s basketball teams. It also hosts a variety of concerts and other events throughout the year. Here is more information on the upgrades: LED Updates and Broadcast Boasting 12,000 square feet of LEDs, the new media displays will feature showcase the action on the court, between basketball games and onstage during concerts in a grander way and in significantly higher quality. The refurbishment also includes 42 new LED vomit screen slots that can sync with the hall’s LED screens and 360-degree ribbons to create a fully immersive experience in the bowl.Audio upgradesThe new Samsung audio system will allow the arena to more easily set up and control the events that take place in the facility. Visitors won’t have to wait long to see the improvements. ASM Global, which manages the KFC Yum! Center said on Wednesday that the renovations will be completed this fall.

Audio upgrades

Concessions updates

Seven Yum! The brand concession stands and the KFC bucket in the main lobby have been redesigned, and the KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut logos will be updated with the current versions of the logos outside the arena this fall.
