The renovations began in June and cost nearly $ 8 million. According to KFC Yum! Managing the center, the goal of the upgrades is to provide new opportunities for sponsors while creating “unique experiences for our fans”. The arena is already home to the University of Louisville men’s and women’s basketball teams. It also hosts a variety of concerts and other events throughout the year. Visitors won’t have to wait long to see the improvements. ASM Global, which manages the KFC Yum! Center said on Wednesday that the renovations will be completed this fall.
