China reports 24 new coronavirus cases for Nov. 18 from 35 days earlier
- China reported 24 new confirmed cases of coronavirus for Nov. 18, up from 35 a day earlier, its health authority said on Friday.
- Among the new infections, eight were locally transmitted cases, according to a statement from the National Health Commission, up from six a day earlier.
- China reported 26 new asymptomatic cases, which it categorizes separately from confirmed cases, up from 27 a day earlier.
- There were no new deaths, leaving the death toll unchanged at 4,636.
PM Modi to Deliver DRDO-Designed Advanced Electronic Warfare Suite to Navy Today
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially hand over to the Indian Navy the Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) suite designed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) at a ceremony in Jhansi on Friday.

- The ‘Shakti’ Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) system was designed and developed by Defense Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL) Hyderabad, a Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) laboratory for Indian Navy warships for the interception, detection, classification, identification and jamming of conventional and modern radars.
