Lupine Season 3 release date window, cast, episodes, and latest news

If you were worried about Lupine Season 3 happening or not, you can relax. The Spy Gentleman returns for more action, though that last part seemed somewhat conclusive.
While Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed the news, star Omar Sy’s announcement (see below) is unlikely to happen if something doesn’t, so it’s likely we’ll be reunited with Arsène Lupine and the rest of the crew in the near future.
Information on what we can expect from Season 3 of Lupine is pretty scarce, but the few details we have are worth considering.
Lupine Season 3 release date window
Star Omar Sy recently confirmed that the French-language heist thriller will definitely return for Lupine Season 3. âWe can’t hide anything from you. Lupine part 3 is confirmed! he tweeted in May, to the delight of fans around the world.
Netflix has yet to announce when we might expect Lupine Season 3 to start airing, but series co-creator George Kay has said. RadioTimes.com in a January 2021 interview that new episodes would likely be released in 2022. A pretty wide window, we know.
“We’re telling this, and I’m sure it will come. We’re actively telling the story with real confidence that it will happen, as the reaction to the first five episodes would suggest we have every chance that [Part 3] would come next year⦠unless something went completely wrong! âKay said at the time.
Given that season two was a colossal success, it’s no surprise that more are on the way.
Little is known about the start of filming of Season 3 of Lupine or if production of the new episodes has already started. However, there is a good chance that images or videos would be uploaded to social media if production on the series had started. It could be that the episodes are still being written, or the casting and location scouting is still in progress.
Based on the estimated 2022 release, it’s not hard to assume that season three will likely start filming in late summer or early fall, but that’s just speculation.
Lupine Season 3 Trailer
Filming has yet to begin for Lupine season 3, so the first trailer or even a preview of the new episodes is probably still several months away.
However, Netflix tends to release teasers for new seasons of its shows ahead of their release date, so keep your eyes peeled for the premiere’s release – we’ll update this story once it happens.
It probably won’t reveal much, but should be enough to intrigue fans and make them even more excited for Part 3.
Rumors of the end of season 3 of Lupine
There is no suggestion that Lupine Season 3 will be the last. In fact, Sy recently expressed hope that he would continue to have the chance to play such a dynamic character.
âWe’ll see what Netflix wants to do with this franchise,â he said in an interview with Deadline. âThe first bet we won was to bring that character to life and create a franchise. The franchise exists and now it’s up to Netflix to see what they want to do with it. We’ll see what they come up with, but he’s a super nice character and one that I would love to revisit tomorrow if I can. “
Lupine season 3 episodes
The first and second seasons of Lupine had five episodes each, so it stands to reason that the third season would be the same. Considering the series has managed to pack a lot of storytelling into such short seasons, it’s unlikely that they’ll want to extend that into the future, but anything is possible.
Lupine Season 3 Cast
There wouldn’t be Lupine without Sy, so there’s no way the show will return without him as Assane. After all, the role has always been a dream for him, as he previously revealed to the hollywood reporter.
“It’s a classic book for us, it’s the dude, you know? And for an actor, it’s like the best toy you can have. Because you can do anything with it … “gave the chance to do everything. I can be funny. There is drama. There is action. All with the same character,” Sy explained of her love for French popular history.
While the remaining cast has not yet been confirmed. Claire (Ludivine Sagnier) and the son of the couple Raoul (Etan Simon) should however return, just like Benjamin (Antoine Gouy), Assane’s best friend.
It’s unclear if we’ll see Detective Guedira (Soufiane Guerrab), Lieutenant Sofia Belkacem (Shirine Boutella) or Captain Romain Laugier (Vincent Londez), but it’s certainly possible.
The plot of Lupine season 3
Given that the end of season two saw the crimes of Pelligrini (Hervé Pierre) finally revealed by Assane, he could be imprisoned for good, meaning he will no longer play a major role in future episodes. .
However, you can always count on Lupine to kick off some serious twists, so if Pellegrini was able to pull himself out of his current predicament, chances are he has a serious ax to grind with Assane. It is unlikely, but it is possible.
That being said, Assane is currently in hiding, having left Claire and Raoul behind, so anyone can guess what he’ll be doing in season three. Either way, it’s likely to be new and exciting, especially since showrunner George Kay has revealed that the new episodes will function as a reboot of the series in a way.
There was also talk of a possible Sherlock crossover: âIn all honesty, there was [discussions]”Kay told the Radio schedules. “There are ideas that revolve around this, that I have, that I’m really interested in exploring.” There would be a lot of fans who would be delighted!
