Man United vs Aston Villa: how to stop Ronaldo?

This is the question most Premier League clubs will no doubt be asking themselves this season
How do you stop what seems unstoppable?
Many consider him to be always to be among the best in the world and one of the greatest of all time and tomorrow is Villa’s problem.
Of course, the villains and Crisitano are no strangers to each other. In fact, the Portuguese star has played fourteen matches against Villa and has scored nine times, worrying statistics indeed.
Since the start of the season since stepping down for the Red Devils, he has already scored three league goals in two games, proof that even at 36 he is more than capable of playing in the Premier League.
For Dean Smith and his players, it’s an interesting game. Ronaldo may be the greatest, but he’s not the only Manchester United star.
They have a multitude of attacking talents and Smith himself says they are title contenders. Right now, a match at Old Trafford is arguably as difficult as it gets.
Still, Villa is doing well as they settle into life without former Captain Jack Grealish. In their last league outing, they beat a previously undefeated Everton 3-0 with a devastating offensive performance in the second half.
Although they lost by the same margin to another title contender, Chelsea and also lost in the League Cup to the Blues, they faced each other with a squad full of world-class players. Dean Smith calls for his side to do the same in Manchester.
This is their third season back in the Premier League and they appear to be on an upward trajectory with Smith, but at Old Trafford they will have their work cut out for them.
They haven’t beaten United since 2009 and while defender Tyrone Mings is excited to face Cristiano, fans might not fully share the excitement!
So the question remains, how would you stop Ronaldo?
