Manager confirms West Ham and Aston Villa target off, not in today’s squad

Massimiliano Allegri spoke to the media ahead of Juventus vs AC Milan where he spoke about West Ham and Aston Villa target Aaron Ramsey.
What is the story?
Well, the Juventus boss has revealed that Ramsey is ‘on the verge of leaving’ Turin very soon, with a return to the Premier League a strong possibility.
It was Eurosport who claimed West Ham are keen to sign the 31-year-old, who has made 262 Premier League appearances for Arsenal.

Elsewhere, it’s Sport Mediaset who have written that Aston Villa are keen to sign the Welsh international on 71 caps.
Now Allegri has confirmed that Ramsey will leave Juventus before the deadline.
As quoted by fabrice romano, the 54-year-old said: “Aaron is not with the team as he is about to leave the club.”
The Welshman has been left out of the squad to face AC Milan as a return to the Premier League looks imminent.
Ramsey has only played 98 minutes of Serie A football so far this season, due to a combination of injuries and Allegri not being too fond of him.
In truth, it was a miserable time in Italy for the former Cardiff man, who scored just six goals in 70 games for Juventus.
West Ham or Aston Villa?
In our opinion, Ramsey should choose West Ham over Aston Villa.
He knows London having spent over a decade at Arsenal, so he wouldn’t need much time to settle back in.
Moreover, David Moyes isn’t blessed with many central midfield options so Ramsey is more likely to play at the London Stadium.
Steven Gerrard, on the other hand, can choose from John McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Philippe Coutinho, Jacob Ramsey, Morgan Sanson and Marvelous Nakamba.
After a turbulent time in Turin, Ramsey needs to be in the right environment to thrive.
In our opinion, he is far more likely to succeed in East London than if he opted for the Midlands.
Keep an eye on this saga, as it looks like a move is now imminent.
