For balance, the other three reviews give Pizza Hut Delivery an excellent rating, so one in five is more than satisfied.
Reviewer Psychosian: “I couldn’t get the app I was trying to use, or the website, to work with what we wanted (basic thing), so I called to ask if there is had a problem.
“The man told me what to do, which I did, but also called back to check. He immediately knew who I was and confirmed my order. Still a little skeptical until it happens, everything exactly as we wanted.
“Perfect!! Hot, tasty food at a great price and exceptional service. Couldn’t ask for anything more.”
BelindaG also gave it a five-star review: “Excellent service and value as always. We always use this takeaway because the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, they’re far outnumbered by those who aren’t thrilled at all.
val_shuker-Patel posted a photo of a burnt pizza. And the review left suggests that a call was made to the company but no satisfactory response was received: “Because it’s Christmas Eve, it turns out some late burnt pizza is to be expected (as they are very busy) and there will be no refunds or vouchers. This is the last time I will use them.
Another reviewer, johnsW2036TH, claimed that the company literally did not deliver what was expected: “What does this company think it does? My nephew ordered a pizza and paid 36.15 and it never arrived. So he emailed them and they offered him either a £30 voucher or a £15 refund. Are you kidding me?

Adventure771764 at least got the food they ordered. Most at least. Whether that’s a good thing, we’ll let you decide: “Worst ‘pizza’ I’ve EVER had, disgusting chewy crust, really tangy tomato sauce (makes you cringe) and so much cheap cheese you can’t not taste the extremely sparse toppings, avoid, avoid avoid.
Macandchinese said they had a bad experience before, but were willing to try again. It looks like there may not be a third attempt: “I had ordered from this particular store before and the experience was negative, but I decided to try again.
“The restaurant promises to deliver within 30 minutes (which seems to be their goal), but we waited an hour for the food to arrive. This time at least it arrived hot. The two stars are because of that and because the delivery guy was really polite. Paid extra for stuffed crust, but got hollow crust instead. I tried to contact customer service to see if they would do anything about it, but to no avail. In short, once again disappointed. I won’t bother trying to order again.”
Reviewer J8625SGah, meanwhile, vowed to stick to rival Domino’s after his order arrived: “Pizza toppings are bad, BOTH sides are wrong, literally the only thing they have right made was the drink.
In response to the various complaints, a Pizza Hut spokesperson said, “I’m sorry to see the bad reviews regarding some customers’ experience, we are always addressing complaints that are brought to our attention.
“I contacted the hut about this and forwarded these notices to the hut to let them know as they directly monitor the notices.”
On a more positive note, the outlet enjoys a five-star food hygiene rating under the Food Standard Agency’s Food Hygiene Rating System – the highest level possible.
