The Many Things You’ll Miss If You Leave New Jersey

I once asked Gilbert Gottfried what he liked most about New Jersey and his answer was “leaving New Jersey”. That said, keep in mind that Gilbert didn’t live here; we do – or for many they did.
More people leave New Jersey than any other state. Our main export is people. It’s so bad we should have a billboard that says “Don’t let the dor kick you in the ass on the way out”
By the way, when you leave it will cost you one of the many exit tolls we have. But it will cost you much more.
You’ll be the only one who talks like you, which means other people might laugh at you.
You will have to make a left turn without a jughandle.
Olive Garden will be your go-to Italian restaurant.
Papa Johns, Domino’s and Pizza Hut will be your go-to pizzerias! Ugh
Here’s what my listeners and social media followers must have added.

I moved to Atlanta, GA. I missed my friends so much. It seems like if you have real NJ friends, these F***ers will take a bullet for you.

I moved for 6 years. Missed PORK ROLL. Was at a place where I delivered and asked if they had pork and cheese. Guy looks at me and says – What is this?

I did it a year ago. I miss a good Jersey pork roll and cheese on a real tough Jersey roll.

I moved from New Jersey in 2004 to Maine for 10 years.
Food was definitely what I missed the most. Couldn’t find any good pizza, bagels or Chinese. And these are staples that I took for granted.
The coastline is so different up there too. With few sandy beaches and lots of rocks. But I still went to the beach. But while I would have liked to go to Jenkinson or Seaside, I didn’t miss the lack of amusements.

I moved 30 years ago and miss panzarotti desperately.

The food. Need pork roll-pizza-sausage and peppers (Italian) and Sabrett hot dogs!

The question should be what are you not missing?
