Tyrone Mings sends message to Carney Chukwuemeka after stunning Aston Villa display
Carney Chukwuemeka was applauded for his performance in Aston Villa’s 8-0 Under-23 loss to Stoke City last night.
Chukwuemeka started for Mark Delaney as the youngsters from Villa traveled to Clayton Wood for the Premier League 2 clash.
The 17-year-old provided two assists and scored two goals on the night in what was a remarkable performance from the youngsters at Villa.
Chukwuemeka, Jaden Philogene-Bidace and Lamare Bogarde have all played or participated in Premier League games and teams in recent weeks and all three have started against Young Potters.
It was 18-year-old Aaron Ramsey who opened the scoring for Villa in the opening five minutes of the game, before Philogene-Bidace, Carney Chukwuemeka and Caleb Chukwuemeka added goals before half-time.
Carney Chukwuemeka then scored his second goal 10 minutes after the start of the second half to bring the score to 5-0.
Carney’s brother Caleb then scored a brace while Philogene-Biodace capped a fine individual performance by grabbing a hat-trick to bring the score to 8-0 before full time.
After full time, Villa first team captain Tyrone Mings responded to Carney Chukwuemeka’s post-match post on Instagram.
Mings wrote: “I love my brother.”
Sheffield United youngster Daniel Jebbison also commented: “The guys are playing in beginner difficulty.”
