Robert Lyons

Cotter High School, Flippin High School, Western Grove High School and Yellville-Summit High School traveled to Harrison to participate in the Senior Goblin Rosson Track Meet. This meeting featured schools from Arkansas State and Branson, Missouri.

The senior girls finished 2nd and the senior boys 4th. Kambree Gibson won the High Point award.

Congratulations to the following for their pre-qualification for the State. KJ Moore 300m hurdles with a time of 50.62., the 4x100m relay team of Jacey Davenport, Kambree Gibson, Abby Methvin and KJ Moore with a time of 52.68 and the 4x400m relay team of KJ Moore, Kaylee Martin, Abby Methvin and Jacey Davenport with a time of 4:33.84.

These student-athletes competed in harsh weather conditions and represented their school with dignity and respect. Also, these student-athletes are to be commended for all their efforts. Congratulations to all the athletes for a job well done and their tremendous sportsmanship. Congratulations to the athletes who qualified for the State Track Meet later this spring.

400M race: Kaylee Martin, YS, was 8th, Madi Hopson, Flippin, 10th, Matilda Bergeron, YS, 13th, Ana Eicher, WG, 16th and Neysa Hoolihan, YS, was 17th.

800M race: Madi Hopson, Flippin, was 3rd, Kaylee Martin, YS, was 4th and Jacey Davenport was 7th.

1600M race: Barbora Berkova finished 6th, Erica Pyle, YS, 8th, Kadence Doshier, YS, 9th and Lucia Zuniga finished 11th.

3200M race: Erica Pyle, YS, was 4th and Amanda Thompson, Flippin, was 6th.

110M hurdles: Kambree Gibson won the Yellville-Summit event. Morgan Zick, Cotter, was 11th and Tara Yocham, WG, 13th.

300m hurdles: KJ Moore, Yellville-Summit, won the event. Abby Methvin, YS, was 5th and Tara Yocham, WG, was 12th.

4x100M Relay: Yellville-Summit finished second.

4x200M Relay: Yellville-Summit finished in 6th place.

4x400M Relay: Yellville-Summit finished in 2nd place.

4x800M Relay: Yellville-Summit finished in 2nd place.
